Boston Holiday Traditions

With winter here and the feeling of the holidays in the air, it’s important to remember and take part in the winter traditions of our hometowns. Boston has a multitude of incredible traditions and events happening through the rest of the year that make the holiday season truly what it is.

The Nutcracker is an event held every year at the Boston Ballet. The celebration starts the moment you enter a festively decorated Boston Opera House and continues with Tchaikovsky’s timeless music, magical sets, and spirited dancing. Such a great location to enjoy a bit of timeless culture as well as experience a fantastic holiday tale!

The Boston winter holiday market is another experience that cannot be forgotten about! Taking over the City Hall each winter, the plaza is filled with festive lights, colors food, and an ice skating rink.

Ice skating on Frog Pond is another big part of the holidays here in Boston. In the heart of the Boston Common, surrounded by trees wrapped in festive lights, skating across Frog Pond is simply like a dream.

Boston’s holiday traditions truly make winter what it is. Make sure to take part in as many festivities as you can and have a wonderful holiday season!
