For this reason, at Delphi Academy, we ignite interest in reading during the school year with our literacy-focused curriculum. Boston Summer Reading for Preschoolers (Ages 3–5)
Start young readers with The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle. This colorful counting tale sparks joy! Because kids follow a caterpillar munching through food. Additionally, it’s a Boston Public Library favorite. For this reason, parents, read aloud and count together for Boston summer reading fun!

Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White is perfect for young readers. The reason being that this is a tale of friendship builds vocabulary. Kids love Wilbur the pig and Charlotte the spider!
